Overview

Veda is operated by Digital Artisan Labs LLC. This policy applies to Veda's mobile apps, web app, website, and related support channels.

We collect information to run the app, sync your account, maintain kit libraries and build progress, support user-contributed kit data, moderate community features, improve reliability, and respond to support or rights-holder requests.

Information We Collect

Account information may include your authentication identifier, email address, display name, profile details, avatar, sign-in provider metadata, and session information. Veda supports anonymous use in some flows and may later connect that activity to an upgraded account if you choose to sign in.

App content may include kit library entries, build progress, runner and section state, custom lists, build posts, comments, reports, feedback, kit requests, mistake reports, and kit contribution drafts or submissions.

Uploaded media may include profile images, build photos, contribution cover images, and other images you choose to submit. Veda's photo-library access is used only for images you select.

Technical information may include device type, app version, platform, language, approximate locale settings, diagnostics, crash or error context, push notification tokens, local storage identifiers, and web analytics events from our website or web app.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide core Veda features, including account sync, kit browsing, build tracking, contribution workflows, community posting, notifications, moderation, support, and safety enforcement.

We use analytics and diagnostic information to understand whether the app is working, which features are used, where reliability needs attention, and how marketing links perform. We do not sell your personal information.

We may review user-submitted content to enforce community guidelines, investigate reports, prevent abuse, respond to legal requests, and handle rights-holder concerns.

Community And Contributions

Veda includes community features and user-contributed kit data. Section maps, runner mappings, notes, images, kit metadata, and other contribution data may be submitted by users or community contributors.

Public community activity, such as published posts, accepted contributions, contributor display names, and profile details you choose to show, may be visible to other users. You should avoid submitting private information in public posts, kit data, images, or reports.

Veda is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by Bandai, Bandai Namco, Sunrise, Sotsu, or other model-kit rights holders. Gundam, Gunpla, Bandai, kit names, logos, and related marks remain property of their respective owners.

Service Providers

We use service providers to operate Veda, including hosting, database, authentication, storage, analytics, app distribution, push notifications, and support tooling. These providers process information for us so we can provide the service.

Authentication providers such as Apple, Google, or Supabase may process information according to their own policies when you use their sign-in services. App stores may also process listing, download, billing, and device information under their own policies.

Retention And Deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to operate Veda, maintain records, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and preserve the integrity of community contributions.

You may request account or content deletion by contacting admin@digitalartisanlabs.io. Some content may remain if it has been aggregated, anonymized, retained for legal or safety reasons, or is necessary to preserve community records and contribution history.

Your Choices

You can choose what you publish, what profile details to show, whether to upload images, and whether to enable notifications. You can also use operating-system controls to limit notifications, photo access, or other permissions.

You may contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of information associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children

Veda is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Veda without appropriate consent, contact us and we will review the request.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice in the app or on the website.
